Lautasella Fair is rescheduled

Lautasella Fair, which focuses on special diets, will be arranged next time in spring 2022. The fair will be arranged at Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre 9-10 April 2022.

Lautasella Fair was planned for spring 2021. Due to the coronavirus situation, the event will be rescheduled to the following year.

“People look forward to the Lautasella Fair and the event is perceived as important. However, a large proportion of the visitors belong to the coronavirus risk groups. Together with our organising partner, the Finnish Coeliac Society, we expect that next spring is not yet the right time to meet,” says Riikka Telin from Messukeskus, responsible for Lautasella Fair.

For this reason, Lautasella Fair 2022 is arranged next time at Messukeskus on 9-10 April 2022, at the same time as the Spring Fair and Local & Organic Food Fair.

“Lautasella Fair has become an important event for both those who follow special diets and the exhibitors. The Finnish Coeliac Society members look forward to encounters and shopping possibilities. The gluten-free area of the event and high-quality lectures are appreciated,” says Ilkka Repo, Executive Director of the Finnish Coeliac Society.

Gluten-free area at the I love me fair already in October 2021

The Finnish Coeliac Society and Messukeskus will implement a new I love gluten-free area in connection with the I love me 2021 trade fair on 22-24 October 2021.

“This new theme area complements in a great way the product groups of the I love me fair. We are happy that those who follow a gluten-free diet will have the opportunity to check out gluten-free products at Messukeskus already next year,” says Riikka Telin.

Lautasella Fair is a special diet event arranged by Messukeskus and the Finnish Coeliac Society. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan products will be presented at the fair. At the event, visitors can get acquainted with different diets, follow expert lectures and cooking demonstrations. Lautasella Fair has been arranged twice before, in 2018 and 2019, and it has gathered thousands of visitors interested in special diets.
