TOUGHNESS AND DURABILITY

Grapples have been tested in very harsh conditions, in forestry and in demolition, with the intent to destroy them. The aims are the lowest reclamation rate and the longest durability. All the structure and grapple are made of Hardox 500 to optimize the weight and sturdiness.

MULTIFUNCTIONALITY AND MODULARITY

The grapple structure is a master shape for several uses, in forestry for cutting and felling energy wood, and other side tasks. On this structure can be attached several optional accessories, such as knife, felling support, coupling solutions (coupling box or grapple adapter), accumulation grapple, foot for maneuvering the excavator.

The knife is removable in 1 minute, so the grapple can be used for materials handling.

The Quick Movement Valve also helps smaller machines with less oil flow to work faster.

THE LARGEST GRAPPLE OPENING FOR A TREE SHEAR

It’s what defines the most the two Mastergrapple models, their really large grapple opening:

–          MG260: 147 cm

–          MG320: 170 cm

At this cutting diameter class, this is a unique feature in Europe, which enables the collection of coppices and large amounts of stems at once, or to handle more logs in one grappling. A large opening is also important for the multifunctionality, for handling all sort of materials such as energy wood, logs, stumps, or demolition debris, unlike a tree shear with a short clamp.

CUTTING POWER

One large cylinder ensures the grappling and cutting. A particular attention to the cylinder testing, for supplying a reliable solution for professionals. The MG260 cylinder provides 28-33 t cutting force; the MG320 cylinder 44-53 t cutting force.
