The leading technology event in the Nordic countries, Technology 21, will be organized at Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre next November. The theme chosen for the event is Solutions for Sustainable Future
.

The Technology 21 event consists of several areas, which are automation, electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics, sheet metal work, mechanical engineering, AI and robotics, energy and maintenance and ICT. For the first time, a new 3D printing event will also be included, which is produced by Messukeskus in cooperation with the Finnish Rapid Prototyping Association FIRPA ry.

”Preparations for the Technology 21 are progressing as planned. The event is attractive, as companies in the industry have a clear need to meet and network after a long break. The event effectively supports the recovery of the entire industry,” says Marcus Bergström, responsible for the Technology 21 event at Messukeskus.

Technology offers a solution to many sustainable development challenges. The responsibility theme will be reflected at the Technology 21 event both in the programme structure and in the performer selections.

”At the Technology event, companies in our industry once again have a great opportunity to present the latest solutions and ideas to our clients. Finnish machine builders are at the forefront in taking technology development forward towards a low emission and sustainable tomorrow. Our member companies play an important role in enabling the electrification of machines and equipment in cooperation with our clients,” says Tapio Lehti, Chairman of the Board of the Finnish Fluid Power Association and Sales General Manager of Parker Hannifin Ab.

”In the discussions and meetings at the Technology event, after a long break, we can jointly consider the factors that will make the operating environment of technology companies in the field of automation stable and lead to growth in the market revolutionised by the pandemic,” says Marko Vuorio, Executive Director of the Finnish Society of Automation.

Messukeskus is ready for a safe and efficient event autumn. The safety of clients, even at large events, has been thoroughly taken into account in the premises, services and staff operations.

The Technology 21 event is organized at Messukeskus every two years. At the previous Technology 19 trade fair, 14,558 professionals in the field visited the fair during three days. Nearly 500 exhibitors presented themselves at the largest event in the event’s history.
