A-Katsastus’ new eAutotohtori service provides comprehensive inspections for electric and hybrid vehicles

A-Katsastus is launching a new eAutotohtori service at the Auto 2025 & Mobility Expo, offering a comprehensive condition inspection tailored for electric and hybrid vehicles. The eAutotohtori service is a version of the long-standing Autotohtori condition inspection. The service addresses the growing need for reliable information about the condition of electric vehicles.

In the eAutotohtori condition inspection, an impartial expert examines the vehicle thoroughly. Special attention is paid to critical components of electric vehicles, such as the battery system and cabling. The inspection also includes a battery test conducted with an Aviloo device, which measures the battery’s State of Health (SOH) and provides a comparable Aviloo score.

”As electric vehicles become more common, it’s important to provide car buyers and sellers with reliable information about the true condition of the vehicle. The service is available for the most common electric and hybrid vehicles with a total mass of up to 3500 kg. After the inspection, the customer receives a comprehensive report on the condition of the vehicle and expert recommendations for possible repair needs.
