New Year fitness benefits initiative brings EUR 110,000 to an adventure park – young entrepreneur to speak openly about the initiative at the Matka Travel Fair
The young, 27-year-old entrepreneur behind Adventure Park Pyhäkuru, Karoliina Keskikallio, gained media attention around the turn of the year following a New Year initiative related to employee fitness benefits. Through this initiative, approximately EUR 110,000 in fitness benefits were used at the adventure park, sparking wide discussion about the role of small businesses, the use of employee benefits, and openness in entrepreneurship.
Keskikallio has openly shared her everyday life as an entrepreneur, as well as the challenges and successes of running a business, on social media. The New Year initiative received significant attention, as it highlighted in a concrete way how employee fitness benefits can support domestic tourism and experience-based businesses.
At the Matka Travel Fair, Adventure Park Pyhäkuru is presented together with its entrepreneur. Karoliina Keskikallio will be available to discuss how the initiative came about, the attention it generated, and how adventure tourism is being developed year-round in Lapland. She will also introduce Pyhäkuru’s activities and discuss collaboration opportunities with travel industry professionals.
Adventure Park Pyhäkuru is located at Pyhä Fell and offers guided rock and zip line adventures in the fell landscapes of Lapland. The company is being developed long-term as part of the region’s tourism offering.
