Lybecker Media Centre brings creative industry education to the Arctic Lights Comic Con event
Koulutuskeskus Brahe’s Lybecker Media Centre will take part in the Arctic Lights Comic Con event on 16–17 May at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. The institution will participate as the only education provider at the event, with its own dedicated stand.
Lybecker Media Centre offers education in animation, fine arts, lighting and video photography, graphic design, the game industry, and event technology. The institution is located in Raahe, North Ostrobothnia, and its roots date back to 1844.
At the event, Lybecker Media Centre’s stand will showcase the institution’s educational offerings. In addition to staff members, students will be present to share their experiences of studying at the school. The stand will host interactive activities, including the opportunity to have a photograph taken and to design and create a custom pin badge under the guidance of animation students.
Arctic Lights Comic Con brings together enthusiasts of games, comics, cosplay, anime, and K‑pop. The event emphasizes community and inclusivity, values that are also central to the work of Lybecker Media Centre.
