Services for visitors

Services

Cloakroom facilities are located at the entrances. The service costs €4 for public events and €5 for professional events. The price for an event organized by an external organiser may differ from the one mentioned. The cloakroom is free for children under the age of 7. The cloakrooms are not just for jackets; guests may also store bags.

The closest ATM is located in the Shopping Center Tripla.

The free wireless network “Messukeskus” is available to all guests.

The smoking area can be found outside near the Northern Entrance. Smoking is prohibited elsewhere on our property.

First Aid

The first aid team is on duty at events organised by the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre during event opening hours, tel. +358 40 450 3237. The first aid station is located near the cloakroom at the North Entrance. You can always ask our staff members for directions!

Our venue is equipped with debrillators. When in need, go directly to the first aid team.

The general emergency number is 112 (address: Messuaukio 1).

Always follow the instructions and regulations given by the organisers and staff. If you notice an accident or any situation that endangers safety, report it immediately to the nearest Service Coordinator or another member of our staff.

Families

The nursery room is located in the Upper Gallery corridor during public events. There is a public toilet for the youngest members of the family, a diaper changing room and a microwave oven. Children are the responsibility of their guardians, and must not be left unattended in the room.

Diaper changing spaces are available in almost every public toilet  at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

Trolleys can be borrowed for use during the visit to the fair. Strollers are stored at the entrances.

In all Holiday Inn hotels in Finland and around the world, children under the age of 18 (1–2 children) stay free of charge in the same room with their parents without their own bed or if the room type includes an extra bed. Baby beds are available if needed at no extra charge. In addition, you can inquire directly from hotels about rooms with connecting doors, which provide additional space for even a larger family.

Dining for families with children is made comfortable and enjoyable in all Holiday Inn hotels. The Kids Eat Free program offers hotel guests under the age of 13 the opportunity to dine in the restaurant from the children’s menu free of charge, when an adult in the family dines in the restaurant.
