ChemBio Finland, Helsinki Chemicals Forum and PulPaper are rescheduled to June
The international professional events ChemBio Finland 2022, Helsinki Chemicals Forum 2022 and PulPaper 2022 that are organised at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre have been rescheduled from March to June. The three-day PulPaper will be held from 7 – 9 June 2022 and the two-day ChemBio Finland and Helsinki Chemicals Forum from 8 – 9 June 2022 at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
The event entity was to take place 29–31 March 2022. The success of international professional events at that time is challenging due to current restrictions. Many companies still have travel bans in early spring. For this reason, Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, together with the cooperation partners of the event have decided to reschedule the event entity to the beginning of June.
” The highly international events – the forest industry’s PulPaper and chemical safety’s Helsinki Chemicals Forum have previously been held in June, so the new date is excellent for the events,” says Business Manager Marcus Bergström in charge of the events at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre made the decision to reschedule ChemBio Finland in cooperation with the Finnish Chemical Societies, Finnish Bioindustries FIB and the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland, while the decision regarding Helsinki Chemicals Forum was made in cooperation with the Secretary General of Helsinki Chemicals Forum and regarding PulPaper in cooperation with the cooperation partner Finnish Forest Products Engineers’ Association.
” The events are very important for professionals within the trade. After a long break, we want to organise a meeting place where the visitors have the possibility to study the development within the branch, new products, and information. We believe that in the beginning of June professionals will be able to participate in the events and this will enable successful professional events”, says Bergström.
The continuously changing situation with restrictions creates uncertainty and is very challenging for the three event organisers and both companies and individuals participating in trade fairs or conference. Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre wants to act responsibly and ensure that all its customers have the possibility to fully prepare for the fair and thus secure a commercial success and health-safe participation.
