This is the Programme for Teknologia 25 Trade Fair – Supercomputers, Defence Logistics and a YouTube Phenomenon with 7 Billion Views
Teknologia 25 will take over Messukeskus Helsinki from 4–6 November 2025. The event programme has now been published, offering a comprehensive overview of topical themes across the entire industrial sector. Over the course of three days, the event will feature 140 talks on five stages, alongside seminars, competitions and presentations of the latest industry innovations.
At the heart of the programme are 13 keynote speeches delivered by leading experts from Finland and around the world. A new highlight this year is the seminar Bold Leadership – Growth and Competitiveness for Finnish Industry, aimed at Finnish industrial leaders and organised in cooperation with the Make In Finland ecosystem. In addition, a start-up competition will seek the next success story in the technology sector.
Quantum Strategy, Industry Pioneers and Social Media Phenomena that Crush Boundaries
Lauri Vuohensilta, founder of the internationally renowned Hydraulic Press Channel, will discuss the use of industrial robots in entertainment. His YouTube channel, followed by 30 million subscribers, explores the limits of physics and mechanics through hydraulic press experiments, attracting 7 billion views in 2024 alone.
The theme of security will be addressed especially in a keynote by Brigadier General Engineering Juha-Matti Ylitalo of the Finnish Defence Forces, who will discuss defence administration logistics and materiel operations in the current security environment. Pekka Pursula, Director, Microelectronics and Quantum Research at VTT, will outline Finland’s quantum strategy and the sector’s growth opportunities.
International keynote speakers at Technology 25 include Ross Bailey, Lead OT Cyber Security Expert at Fortum; Thomas Fechner, Executive Board Member responsible for Factory Automation at Bosch Rexroth; Professor Igor Drstvenšek of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maribor; and Professor Dr Diego Galar of Luleå University of Technology and Chair of the European Federation of National Maintenance Societies (EFNMS).
Other keynote speakers include Finland’s leading hydrogen expert Herkko Plit (P2X Solutions, H2 Cluster Finland); Dr Jari Saarinen, CEO at GIM Robotics; Professor Juha Röning, Embedded Systems, University of Oulu; Professor Jari Porras, LUT School of Engineering Sciences; Matti Kauhanen, Head of Technology at ABB; and Timo Savolainen, one of Finland’s leading AI strategists.

Teknologia 25 will be held at Messukeskus Helsinki from 4–6 November. The event brings together all areas of industry, including automation, electronics, energy and the hydrogen economy, hydraulics and pneumatics, dual-use technologies, machine building, maintenance, quantum technology, robotics, ICT and 3D. The fair will be organised concurrently with Cyber Security Nordic 2025.
