LAB Institute of Design and Fine Arts brings an exhibition with a Stage & Shop to Habitare

At The Block area of the Habitare fair the GRID150 exhibition of LAB Institute of Design and Fine Arts brings together the students’ perspectives: fresh ideas, bold material experiments and a forward-looking design language. The exhibition offers a glimpse into how a new generation approaches space, objects and their relationship with their environment. GRID150 is not just a review of design – it is a conversation starter. The exhibition gives students, alumni and partners a chance to speak, and invites its audience to interact.

In the Stage & Shop area next to the exhibition area, two perspectives on design come together: the stories of the creators and their work.

In the Stage area, students and alumni open up their processes, share their experiments and tell stories that often remain behind the exhibition objects.

The shop features products made by the students LAB Institute of Design and Fine Arts. Each work is a unique glimpse into the thoughts, materials and experiments of its creator. By purchasing student works, you can support young designers – and take a piece of the exhibition with you at the same time.

Where do ideas come from and how does design become a finished work? In GRID150 talks, students and alumni will open up about their design processes, share their experiments and tell stories that often remain behind the exhibition objects.

You are warmly welcome to join us – you can come to listen, ask questions and discuss, or just have fun and be inspired.
