The GoExpo event entity will not be organised in 2022 – the themes will be noted in Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre’s programme even in the future
The event entity for active lifestyle, outdoor activities and photography, GoExpo, will not be organised in its present form in 2022. Photo, Video and Sound will be arranged in connection with Habitare 9 – 11 September 2022 at Helsinki Expo and Convention Center. Golf fair will be implemented virtually in 2022, and in 2023 simultaneously with the Spring fair. Bicycle and OutdoorExpo will not be organised in 2022.
The GoExpo event entity was to be arranged on 4 – 6 March 2022 at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. The event entity was planned to consist of four events: Bicycle, Golf, Outdoor and Photo, Video & Sound. After a thorough consideration Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre decided, together with its partners, that the GoExpo event entity will not be organised in 2022 in its present form.
”Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre wants to offer both visitors and participating companies successful and productive events, full of experiences. The events are constantly developed both regarding content and for instance regarding the extent and date of the event. While we would have been happy to enable fruitful encounters at GoExpo this year, the situation also provides a good opportunity to further develop the events and think about the best ways to reach both current and new enthusiasts”, says Business Manager Tanja Pasila from Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre, in charge of the event.
The Golf fair will be organised virtually this year – in 2023 the fair will be arranged in connection with the Spring fair
The Golf fair will be organised in 2022 virtually. The virtual event will take place on 4 – 6 March 2022. The event was arranged virtually in 2021 as well, and was commercially successful, which is why we believe that the virtual event will be a functional solution even this year.
The event will be organised at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre next time in 2023, when it will take place on 30 March – 2 April. A total of five events will be organised at the same time during the comprehensive Spring fair, which is open on 30 March – 2 April 2023. The Spring fair includes the following events: Live & Renovate, Spring Garden, Own Cabin, Sisusta and Local & Organic Food. One ticket allows entrance to all events.
” The Golf fair will be organised as an independant event at the same time as the Spring fair in April 2023. The Spring fair gathers many visitors interested in outdoor activities right before the golf season begins. We believe that this group also consists of people interested in golf”, says Tanja Pasila.
Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre made the decision to reschedule in cooperation with its partner GoGolf. GoGolf is also in charge of the content of the virtual event.
Photo, Video & Sound will be organised in connection with Habitare in September 2022
Photo, Video & Sound, presenting photography, video filming and sound recording, reproduction and distribution will be organised 9 – 11 September 2022 at the same time as Habitare, the top event for furniture, design and decoration. Habitare, open on 7 – 11 September 2022 gathers over 50,000 visitors, both general public and professionals, interested in design and decoration.
The same ticket allows entrance to both Habitare and Photo, Video & Sound.
Further plans for Outdoor and Bicycle under way
Both Bicycle and Outdoor are popular events, that gather their own fans interested in these topics. The future implementation of both events is on the table at the moment.
GoExpo tickets already purchased will be exchanged to a Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre gift ticket by contacting the Customer Service.
