ChemBio Finland 2026 strengthened its position as the leading meeting place for the chemistry and bio industries
The professional event for the chemistry and bio industries, ChemBio Finland 2026, brought together industry professionals, companies and students at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre on 15–16 April 2026. The combined event entity formed by ChemBio Finland, Helsinki Chemicals Forum and Pulp & Beyond attracted over 8,400 visitors during the two days.
Over the course of two days, ChemBio Finland featured a broader programme than ever before, covering current topics in the bio and chemical industries – from research and innovation to sustainable solutions. The expanded programme received strong praise from participants.
– ChemBio brought together a diverse and timely programme that resonated with a wide range of audiences and addressed the future needs of the industry. The latest research was strongly highlighted in high-quality seminar sessions, while exhibitors showcased practical solutions, for example for analytical needs. The strong turnout further reinforced the event’s role as an important meeting place for key industry topics, says Sari Vihavainen, Executive Director of the Finnish Chemical Society.
– ChemBio once again brought together a wide range of bio industry professionals, and the event enabled many valuable encounters. It is great if the discussions and presentations sparked new ideas and opened up opportunities for collaboration. The atmosphere at the event was excellent, says Alexandra Peth, CEO of Finnish Bioindustries.
The future of the industry was also clearly visible at the event, with a large number of students attending to explore companies, technologies and career opportunities.
– ChemBio Finland once again proved to be the most important meeting place for the industry in Finland, and it was great to see so many students taking part, says Anssi Rajala, Business Manager at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
– The synergy between ChemBio Finland, Helsinki Chemicals Forum and Pulp & Beyond works extremely well from the perspective of both visitors and exhibitors, and we have received a great deal of positive feedback on this.
ChemBio Finland 2026 was organised at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre in cooperation with the Finnish Chemical Societies, the Chemical Industry Federation of Finland and Finnish Bioindustries.
The next ChemBio Finland will be held in spring 2028 at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
