INVITATION TO FinnBuild:

FinnBuild opens at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre on 29 September 2026Welcome to FinnBuild, Finland’s largest trade expo for the construction and building services, taking place from 29 September to 1 October 2026. The programme provides a timely overview of how the industry is evolving towards more sustainable and efficient ways of working. Key themes this year include data centre construction, the energy transition, artificial intelligence and growing sustainability requirements.

The event is open:

  • Tuesday: 9:00–18:00
  • Wednesday: 9:00–17:00 (+ Afterwork event)
  • Thursday: 9:00–16:00

The opening day, 29 September, is dedicated to working life and future talent, while also providing practical recruitment opportunities.

Building Talks Stage

This English-language presentation discusses the acute dilemmas of construction production, and how new management models and technologies, such as takt, industrialized construction, digitalization and AI, enable simultaneously improved productivity, quality, cost-efficiency, and sustainability. What are the key innovations and development areas in construction?

From Compliance to Competitive Advantage: The New Era of EPDs and DPPs
Environmental Product Declarations and Digital Product Passports are becoming mandatory across European markets, driven by the EU Construction Products Regulation.

This session looks at what these requirements mean in practice and where the real business value lies for manufacturers who are ahead of the compliance timeline.

The Media Centre (press room) is unavailable until autumn 2027 due to construction works related to the Messukeskus Solar project.

Media representatives will be served at a dedicated service desk located in the Upper Gallery, as well as in the adjacent lounge area, which provides a quiet space for working and taking breaks during event opening hours.

Upon arrival, please present a valid press card or other proof that you are attending the event in a professional capacity. You will receive a FinnBuild press badge from the service desk.

Please note that Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre cannot accept responsibility for items left unattended in the lounge.

Parking

Parking is free of charge for accredited journalists attending events at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.

Please provide your vehicle registration number at the service desk upon arrival, and your parking will be validated.
