Innolux presents the sculptural Kaari luminaire family and expertise in good lighting at Habitare
At Habitare, Innolux will place the spotlight on the striking Kaari luminaire family designed by Petra Lassenius. In addition, Innolux CEO Jukka Jokiniemi will join interior designer Marja Pentikäinen on Habitare’s Main Stage to discuss how the right lighting and interior design solutions can help create a memory-friendly home.
Graceful lines for homes and public spaces
Innolux Kaari is an airy and sculptural luminaire family whose distinctive appearance combines clean lines with a softly curved form. Light is gently reflected from the curved surface into the surrounding space, highlighting the luminaire’s three-dimensional shape.
Kaari is a modular luminaire available in both pendant and ceiling-mounted versions. The family includes two sizes: the more delicate and serene S and the bold, sculptural L. The basic frame remains the same, while the diameter of the reflector distinguishes the two sizes. Adjusting the orientation of the curved form influences both the direction of the light and the appearance of its reflection.
The colour options are pure white and a radiant gold that reflects light with a warm glow. The ceiling-mounted luminaire works equally well as an independent design element or alongside the pendant luminaires, creating a harmonious lighting scheme. Thanks to its versatility, Kaari is suitable for a wide range of homes and public spaces.
The Kaari luminaire family was designed by award-winning furniture designer and interior architect Petra Lassenius. Her work is guided by timelessness, functionality and longevity, as well as the relationship between a space and its furnishings. Lassenius’s clear and considered design language makes her products easy to combine with different environments and existing interiors.

On Thursday, 3 September, from 4.30 to 5.00 p.m., a talk on Habitare’s Main Stage will explore the role of lighting and interior design in creating a memory-friendly home. The speakers are Jukka Jokiniemi, D.Sc. (Tech.), CEO of Innojok Oy, and Marja Pentikäinen, interior designer at Muistiystävällinen koti Oy.
