SocialBBQ Grill Table and Terassit.net are creating a shared terrace concept for Habitare 2026, bringing together Finnish design, craftsmanship, outdoor cooking and togetherness. Alongside the SocialBBQ Grill Table, the stand will feature Terassit.net’s brand-new premium Hehku outdoor kitchen. Styled in an atmospheric autumn crayfish party theme, the concept challenges the idea that Finnish terraces are only for the summer months.
SocialBBQ and Terassit.net share a common vision: a terrace can be a year-round extension of the home and a place for spending time together.
A well-designed outdoor space adapts to the seasons and invites people to enjoy it beyond summer. Shelter, lighting, high-quality materials, functional cooking solutions and the right furniture can transform a terrace into a space for cooking, gathering and enjoying time together well into the darker evenings.
At Habitare, this idea comes to life in an autumn-inspired terrace setting. Terassit.net creates the framework for outdoor living, while the SocialBBQ Grill Table brings food, warmth, shared activity and people to the heart of it.

The idea also fits perfectly with Habitare 2026’s theme, Plot Twists. What if the terrace season did not have to end with summer? And what if a dining table were more than just a dining table?
A Finnish-made Grill Table brings everyone around the same table
The SocialBBQ Grill Table combines a dining table and a grill in one piece of furniture. The idea is simple: food is prepared where the people are.
Instead of one person standing alone at the grill while everyone else sits at the table, the Grill Table allows everyone to take part in preparing the food while the conversation continues.
Handcrafted in Finland, the SocialBBQ Grill Table represents an idea that goes far beyond the furniture itself – bringing people together.
For SocialBBQ, good design is not only about how a product looks. At its best, design influences how a product is used and what happens around it.
Turning the terrace into a true extension of the home
Terassit.net approaches outdoor spaces as complete environments. The company designs and builds premium terraces, pergolas, outdoor kitchens and other outdoor living spaces on a turnkey basis.
The philosophy is that a terrace should not simply be a deck in one corner of the garden, but an extension of the home and the life lived there.
At Habitare, Terassit.net will unveil its brand-new, in-house designed and manufactured premium Hehku outdoor kitchen for the first time. Its modern design combines a black backdrop, thermowood slats and a substantial 50 mm concrete countertop. Integrated waste bins and carefully designed routing for gas connections add functionality to the refined design.
Visitors can also explore Garden Lights terrace lighting and Tasaflex adjustable feet, as well as meet terrace designer Ville Antikainen to discuss anything from designing a completely new terrace to giving an existing outdoor space a stylish facelift.
A crayfish party shows autumn terrace living at its best
The shared Habitare stand is about more than showcasing products. SocialBBQ and Terassit.net want to demonstrate what a terrace can become: a place for gathering, enjoying good food and spending time together.
At the show, the SocialBBQ Grill Table will be styled for an atmospheric autumn crayfish party, offering inspiration for creating memorable gatherings and showing how the Grill Table can become part of a complete terrace environment.
For additional food inspiration, SocialBBQ has created a three-course crayfish party menu for visitors to discover at the stand and use as inspiration for their own celebrations.
Visitors are invited to explore the Grill Table, talk about food and discover new ideas for autumn table settings and outdoor gatherings.
SocialBBQ will also showcase selected Grill Tables from its summer event and exhibition tour as part of its Outlet collection. Visitors can explore the different Grill Table options and start designing a solution for their own garden, terrace or holiday home.
