Habitare Pro to present Helsinki showrooms to complement the Habitare fair in collaboration with Polestar
Habitare is strengthening its offering to professionals and under the Habitare Pro theme, is showcasing the best local showrooms in the city of Helsinki to complement the main fair. Showrooms invite industry professionals and friends to explore their offerings, and to network and enjoy the programme. Habitare Pro will be held at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre and in showrooms in the centre of Helsinki from 13 to 15 September 2023. The main sponsor of the event is Polestar.
Habitare Pro, which will be held together with Habitare from 13 to 15 September 2023, will include an exhibition staged in Habitare’s Ahead area and an international programme for professionals, as well as a new showroom event that invites professionals and design enthusiasts to showrooms in the heart of Helsinki. In the Habitare programme, the content aimed for professionals is concentrated from Wednesday to Friday, with Wednesday’s programme held in English.
“Bringing an international touch to Habitare is an important step forwards and towards change, enabling us to engage with our visitors globally. An event where people can meet, network and be inspired in a fun and engaging environment. All via the business and language of design”, says the Habitare Pro Creative Brand Manager, Hanna Laikola.
Strengthening the Habitare Pro professional concept and acquire Hanna Laikola to develop the event's professional content, enhances the Habitare team's expertise in international design events.
The main sponsor of Habitare Pro is Polestar, which will host the panel discussion How will materials shape the future?, to be held on the opening day of the event on 13 September at 14:00. From Friday 15 to Sunday 17 September 2023, Polestar will offer test drives of their vehicles. The test drives can be booked online in advance or on site at Messukeskus.
The other partners of Habitare Pro include the Alvar Aalto Foundation, Design District Helsinki and Nordic Choice Hotels, which are featured in both the city event and the Habitare programme.
