Invitation to media: Arctic Lights Comic Con
Dear journalist,
The globally established Comic Con concept is taking a significant step into the Finnish event scene as Arctic Lights Comic Con is held for the first time at Messukeskus Helsinki on 16–17 May 2026.
Arctic Lights Comic Con brings together international star guests, comic artists, and a wide range of pop culture phenomena on a scale not previously seen in Finland. The event features cosplay, K-pop, console and tabletop gaming, trading cards, and anime, among others.
The programme includes interviews with international guests, live drawing battles between comic artists, and hands-on activities - from lightsaber training to poi dragon taming.

Please note that photography is restricted in the Starlight Zone and during Q&A sessions on the Starlight Main Stage to official event photographers only. Images taken by the event’s official photographers will be published in the Messukeskus media bank after each event day.
Media representatives can accredit in advance via the event newsroom or on-site at the Messukeskus Press Centre (Southern Entrance, 2nd floor). The Press Centre serves media during event opening hours. Please present a valid press card (e.g. Finnish Union of Journalists) or other proof of assignment upon arrival.
