As Malaysia prepares for Visit Malaysia 2026, Sarawak proudly extends its invitation to the world through the message “Sarawak Welcomes You.” Under the national theme “Malaysia – A Culturally Rich & Sustainable Destination,” VM2026 focuses on attracting high-yield travellers, advancing sustainable tourism, and strengthening Malaysia’s global standing as a destination defined by authenticity, diversity, and immersive experiences. The campaign highlights Malaysia’s niche and high-value tourism segments — including luxury, wellness, nature-based, generational travel, weddings, MICE, and experiential tourism — all of which resonate strongly with Nordic travellers’ preferences for sustainability, culture, and meaningful, nature-led experiences.
