Radical Reform Begins in Helsinki – Europe’s Premier Festival for Health & Care Set to Unite Key International Actors to Drive System-Level Change

Radical Health Festival Helsinki, Europe’s premier festival for health & care, will return to Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre on 19–21 January 2026. The festival brings together health and care visionaries and change-makers to accelerate system-level transformation.

The event is organised by éditohealth and Messukeskus Helsinki. Co-curated with the Finnish Government — through the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and the City of Helsinki — it brings together bold thinkers and doers across health, care, policy, tech, research, and civil society.

“Finland is committed to driving a new era of health and well-being — with technology, data and AI at the core. We see Radical Health Festival as an important platform to push this shift forward to operationalise precision health, give prevention the focus it deserves, and build stronger, more resilient health systems”, says Dr Päivi Sillanaukee, Special Envoy for Health and Wellbeing, Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

The festival brings together key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors: policymakers, physicians, nurses, patients, researchers, companies, startups, influencers and media.

“Public–private partnerships are at the heart of system change. Radical Health Festival Helsinki creates a space where governments, industry, and innovators work side by side — not in silos — to turn bold ideas into practical impact. By bridging public priorities with private innovation, we can scale prevention, precision, and people-powered health across Europe”, says Pascal Lardier, Founding Partner at éditohealth and Content Lead for the Festival.

Two Successful Editions Behind

Launched in June 2023, Radical Health Festival Helsinki attracted over 1,100 international participants and was widely praised for its high-quality programme and collaborative atmosphere. The 2024 edition offered an even more diverse experience: over 160 speakers, workshops, interactive experiences, and an exhibition showcasing leading companies, startups and international pavilions.

The upcoming 2026 edition will focus on the theme “Operationalising Precision Health”, a data-driven, proactive, and lifelong approach to health that starts before symptoms arise and focuses on personalising prevention and treatment plans based on everyone’s unique biological, environmental, and lifestyle risk factors. It is a movement for those ready to challenge the old ways, rethink prevention and care, and drive health transformation across Europe and beyond.
