Cyber Security Nordic 2025: Two days of insight, innovation, and a comprehensive cybersecurity exhibition

Cyber Security Nordic 2025 will open its doors tomorrow, 4 November, at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre. The two-day event gathers cybersecurity experts, decision-makers, and companies providing solutions and services for businesses and the public sector to address today’s most pressing digital security challenges.

The event’s sold-out exhibition brings together over 75 companies, offering professional visitors a chance to explore the full range of cybersecurity products and services – from critical infrastructure protection and secure software development to AI-driven defence solutions.

Opening address by Finland’s Minister of Defence, Antti Häkkänen

Cyber Security Nordic 2025 opens with a strong national security focus. Finland’s Minister of Defence, Mr Antti Häkkänen, will deliver the opening address, highlighting the role of cybersecurity as an integral part of national defence, the importance of building trust among citizens and businesses, and the integration of cyber defence into Finland’s overall security strategy.

Among the keynote speakers are Philip Stupak (ISC2, former White House cyber director), Andžejus Roginskis (Europol EC3), Katarína Klingová (Globsec), Freddy Lim (Ambassador of Taiwan to Finland), Anu Talus (Data Protection Ombudsman of Finland), and Tariq Krim (Cybernetica, World Economic Forum). Themes include hybrid influencing, AI in national security, privacy and innovation, and the geopolitics of intelligent machines.

Tietoturva 2025 – Protecting the digital society – Traficom’s programme 5 Nov

For the first time in the event, the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom, together with the National Emergency Supply Agency, presents a full afternoon programme dedicated to safeguarding Finland’s digital society.

The seminar features opening remarks by Jarkko Saarimäki, Director General of Traficom, followed by a keynote on lessons learned from defending Ukraine’s digital infrastructure.

New for 2025 is the Scandinum Stage, featuring innovation pitches and quick insights, alongside Cybercation 2025, a side event dedicated to cybersecurity education and the Telia Cybercation Challenge for young talents.
