At this year’s Habitare fair, Timberwise focuses on the new single-plank wooden floor materials of birch, pine and Douglas fir.

Both pine, symbolising tenacity and stamina, and birch, embodying strength and vitality, are an integral part of Finnish nature and mentality. Today, this iconic duo is also used to make Timberwise single-plank wooden floors that are, from base to surface, craftily made of Finnish raw materials – with the degree of Finnish origin a resounding 100%!

In interior design, the popularity of northern wood species has been increasing for quite some time, in furniture and also wall and floor materials. Interior design professionals are now selecting typically Scandinavian materials for their current projects, for which a single-plank wooden floor made of light-coloured birch or vivid pine is an excellent choice.

Birch and pine have made a strong comeback to Timberwise’s range of single-plank wooden floors. In the eyes of the younger generation, these traditional flooring materials are contemporary. Timberwise has designed a new, fresh look and new tones for its birch and pine floors. In addition to traditional tones, the selection also includes Finnish birch and pine in new tones.

All timber used by Timberwise is certified and thus traceable and ethically and ecologically grown. As a result, the quality can be felt at every step – from one generation to the next. As a Finnish family-owned company based in Loimaa, Finland, Timberwise cherishes Finnishness and local work with genuine passion and the strength of heartwood.

Alongside birch and pine, Timberwise introduces a selection of wooden floors made of Douglas fir grown in Central Europe, available in a wider variety than usual, with the updated palette ranging from elegant light tones to more dramatic dark ones. All new tones have been selected carefully with the highly skilled team of Franz Design.

This year’s stand at the Habitare fair has also been designed in collaboration with Franz Design’s interior designers. The cosy stand invites you to spend time in good company in the spirit of this year’s fair theme “Together”.
